KENUNIVQS-CGM Quick seal is a specially formulated Cementitious Grout Material designed for sealing, densifying, and strengthening flexible and rigid wearing courses. The product penetrates surface voids, micro-cracks, hungry surfaces and interconnected pores to form a dense, impermeable, and durable layer.

The treated surface becomes resistant to water ingress, moisture penetration, fuel spillage, and traffic-induced stresses, thereby extending pavement service life and reducing maintenance costs.

Surface Preparation
Proper surface preparation is essential for achieving optimum bond strength and durability.

• Remove all loose materials, dust, dirt, oil, grease, laitance, standing water, and other bond-inhibiting contaminants from the pothole or repair area.
• Cleaning may be carried out using suitable methods such as: Wire brushing / Water jetting / Air blowing / Sweeping or mopping.
• Ensure that the repair area is structurally sound before application.

• Add the required quantity of clean water to the KENUNIV-QS Quick Seal material. For asphalt and concrete wearing courses, the water dosage may be adjusted according to:.
• Surface condition, Severity of damage , Ambient temperature, Required workability.
• Mix mechanically for 2–3 minutes until a homogeneous, lump-free paste grout is obtained.

Mixing of KENUNIV-QS CGM

• Pour KENUNIV -QS CGMgrout slurry onto the prepared bituminous or concrete surface.
• Spread uniformly using suitable manual or mechanical methods. Application may be carried out through:
  o Sweeping
  o Squeezing
  o Rubber squeegee spreading
  o Mechanical grouting equipment
  
• The grout should freely penetrate into the surface voids under gravity.
• Where necessary, the edges of the treatment area may be sealed with suitable materials such as fly ash to prevent slurry outflow.
• To improve surface texture and skid resistance, the treated surface may be mechanically or manually broom-finished.

• KENUNIV-QS Quick SEAL contains a silica-based reactive compound that promotes rapid strength development and fast setting.
• No conventional water curing is required.
• Allow the repaired area to settle and gain initial strength for approximately 4 to 6 hours.

• Use clean water and clean aggregates only.
• Do not apply during heavy rainfall or when water is continuously flowing through the repair area.
• Mix only the quantity that can be placed within the recommended working time of 30 minute.
